Bio

Alessandro Pegoraro does the best job in the world: I help people – and teams – to grow. I am Business Trainer and Executive Coach. I alternate corporate projects (Intesa San Paolo, Edenred, Mondadori Direct, Action Aid, M&G Holding, Wikipedia, Zerostories) to individual interventions with private clients. also in English and French.

From 1983 to 2004 he worked in national and multinational companies in the TMT (Technology Media Telecommunications) sector, alternating between staff and line functions. From 1998 to 2004, at the dawn of the “internet” revolution, I was CEO of Yahoo! Italy and subsequently Managing Director of Yahoo! South Europe. It was a short step from the Internet to Telecommunications. From 2004 to 2014 I directed the external and institutional relations of BT Italia. As a member of the CLT (Company Leadership Team) I launched the Advisory Board of BT Italia and represented the company in the main bodies of the Confindustriale system (Assolombarda and Assinform). My “first love” was publishing. From 1987 to 1998 he worked for the Il Sole 24 Ore Group initially as Product Manager of the newspaper and later as Assistant to the CEO. From 1991 to 1995 I directed the Books Division (Il Sole 24 Ore Libri, Parola, Bruno Frizzera’s Practical Fiscal Guide). In 1995 I launched Il Sole 24 Ore On Line, the first Italian economy and finance portal. In reality, Il Sole 24 Ore was not my first newspaper. In 1986 I left the role of Ipsoa’s Editorial Management Director and I participated in the foundation of the newspaper Italia Oggi – today of the Class Group – with the role of Advertising Product Manager. From 1983 to 1985 I learned the job of the editor and the “magic” of Direct Marketing by selecting from the Reader’s Digest. Since school I have been fascinated by abstract reasoning which, however, helps to make the world a better place. I graduated in Philosophy with a thesis in Contemporary History.I really enjoy writing. On business and personal development issues, I actively collaborate with Panorama and Executive Summary Resources and Ideas for Leaders www.executivesummary.itMy first job was a high school teacher: I really believe that my passion for helping people grow was born there ….
